1 Universal machining center machine tools have high rigidity and good vibration resistance. In order to adapt to the machining center's high automation, high precision, high efficiency and high reliability processing requirements, the static stiffness and dynamic stiffness of the machining center are higher than ordinary CNC machine tools; due to the high damping ratio of the mechanical structure system, so during the machining process The anti-vibration performance of the machine tool is also higher than that of ordinary CNC machine tools.

2 process concentration. The machining center has a tool magazine (as shown in Figure 2-16) and can automatically change the tool. This is the main difference between the machining center and the CNC milling machine. Before the machining, the necessary tool adjustments are measured and loaded into the tool magazine. The machining can be automatically replaced by the program control, so that the workpiece can be processed in multiple steps. The modern high-speed machining center enables the workpiece to achieve continuous, high-efficiency and high-precision machining with multiple surfaces, multiple features and multiple stations after one clamping, that is, the process is concentrated. This is the most prominent feature of the machining center.
