Tool for CNC lathe
(1) Requirements for tools
CNC lathes can double as coarse and fine machining. In order to enable rough machining to be processed at a large cutting depth and a large feed speed, the roughing tool is required to have high strength and durability. The finishing car first guarantees the machining accuracy, so the tool requires high precision and durability. In order to reduce the tool change time and facilitate the tool setting, it is possible to use a machine clamp. CNC lathes also require consistent blade durability for easy tool life management. When using tool life management, blade durability is set based on the lowest durability blade in the batch. In this case, the consistency of the blade durability is even more important than its average life.

(2) CNC lathe turning tool classification
Turning tools for CNC turning are generally divided into three categories, namely pointed turning tools, circular turning tools and forming turning tools. A turning tool characterized by a linear cutting edge is generally referred to as a pointed turning tool. The cutting edge of this type of turning tool (also its tool position) is composed of linear main and auxiliary cutting edges, such as 90? inner and outer turning tools, left and right end turning tools, and slotting (breaking) Various outer and inner hole turning tools with small knives and sharp edges. When machining a part with such a turning tool, the contour shape of the part is mainly obtained by displacement of a single cutting edge or a straight main cutting edge, and the principle of the contour of the part obtained when machining with the other two types of turning tools is completely different.
The circular arc turning tool is a special CNC turning tool for machining. The utility model is characterized in that the shape of the blade constituting the main cutting edge is an arc with a roundness error or a line contour error; each arc point is a tool edge of the circular arc turning tool, and therefore, the tool position is not On the arc, on the center of the arc; the arc radius of the turning tool is theoretically independent of the shape of the part being machined, and can be flexibly determined or determined as needed. It can also be used as a turning tool when the tip of a pointed turning tool or a forming turning tool (such as a thread turning tool) has a certain arc shape. The circular turning tool can be used for turning the inner and outer surfaces, and is particularly suitable for turning various smooth joints (concave) forming surfaces.
The forming tool is commonly called a model turning tool, and the contour shape of the machined part is completely determined by the shape and size of the turning blade. In CNC turning, common forming turning tools include small-radius circular turning tools, non-rectangular grooving knives, and thread turning tools. In CNC machining, the turning tool should be used with little or no use. When it is necessary to select it, it should be detailed on the process preparation document or the processing program. In order to meet the needs of automatic machining of CNC machine tools (such as tool setting or presetting, automatic tool change or rotary tool, automatic detection and management work, etc.), and continuously improve the processing quality and production efficiency of the product, saving tool costs, should be more Use modular and standardized tools.

2. Chuck of CNC lathe
The hydraulic chuck is an important accessory for clamping workpieces during CNC turning. For general rotary parts, ordinary hydraulic chucks can be used. For parts whose parts are not clamped, special chucks are required. A spring chuck is required to machine the part.

3. The tailstock of the CNC lathe
For parts with a large ratio of axial dimension to radial dimension, the end of the part needs to be supported by a live tip mounted on the hydraulic tailstock to ensure proper machining of the part. The tailstock has a common hydraulic tailstock and a programmable hydraulic tailstock.

4. Tool holder for CNC lathe
The tool holder is a very important part of the CNC lathe. According to its function, the number of tools that can be installed on the tool holder is generally 8, 10, 12 or 16 pieces. Some CNC lathes can install more tools. The structure of the tool holder is generally rotary. The tool is mounted on the tool holder in the circumferential direction. Radial turning tools, axial turning tools, drill bits and boring tools can be installed. An axial milling cutter and a radial milling cutter can also be installed in the turning machining center. The tool holders of a few CNC lathes are in-line and the tools are mounted in a straight line.
Roller CNC lathes can be equipped with two tool holders:
(1) Special tool holders are developed by the lathe manufacturer itself, and the tool holders used are also dedicated. The advantage of this tool holder is that it is inexpensive to manufacture but lacks versatility.
(2) Universal tool holder According to certain common standards, CNC lathe manufacturers can choose according to the functional requirements of CNC lathes.

5. Milling power head of CNC lathe
The milling power head mounted on the tool holder of the CNC lathe can greatly expand the processing capability of the CNC lathe.
